ODVA maintains a conformance testing practice to validate that products designed using ODVA technologies comply with the specifications and interoperate in multivendor systems. Being a member helps to ensure that ours and other companies' DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and CompoNet products will be designed based on stable, open standards and built to common conformance standards.ODVA also provides other services to its members to promote adoption of ODVA technologies by industry. To qualify for membership in ODVA, applicants must be an entity that makes and sells products using ODVA technologies.
